When it comes to streaming TV shows online, there aren’t many streaming sites as good as the Watch Series. Sure, there are plenty of websites that allow you to stream over a million movie titles but Watch Series with its pure TV show dedication is second to none. With the rise of streaming services and the availability of amazing originals from Prime Video, Netflix and Hulu, the popularity of Watch Series is rising. That’s because a wide range of audience prefers streaming via this network as compared to paying for those premium services.
What is Watch Series?
Watch Series is an online streaming service that offers links to almost all the trending TV shows across the world. It carries the most updated video links of trending TV shows and other video content. You can choose from various genres such as action, drama, horror, and thriller to name a few. Watch Series allows you to binge-watch the best TV shows without spending a single dollar.
What makes this service great is that for each show, you get between 5-20 streaming links to choose from. It allows you to stream any TV show for free and also lets you download it. All you need to watch the content is steady internet speed.
How does Watch Series work?
Watch Series similar to FlixTor and 123movies doesn’t host the content on its site. It’s just a source that carries good links to the content. So, with Watch Series, you get video links, along with an episode-wise summary of every TV show and information about streaming the show for free.
There’s definitely a connection between the streaming services and the blue color combination. We saw FlixTor and 123movies carrying the same color combination. When it comes to design, Watch Series is much more peculiar than both of them. It has a user-friendly interface that makes browsing hassle-free. I love the layout of the website – it’s pretty simple to understand and get used to. As soon as you enter the homepage, you can find the categories tab with a black background alongside a search bar on the right.
Accessing a TV Show
Categories include Home, Series, Newest Shows, TV Schedule, How to Watch and Support. Each of these categories has a dedicated page serving a particular purpose. For instance, when I clicked on Series, I was taken to a new page where the content was listed in alphabetical order. You can access any TV show you want by clicking on the letter. For instance, if you want to watch Dave Chapelle’s ‘Sticks and Stones’, you can click on the ‘S’ and if you want to find it directly, you can also make use of the search bar.
Quick Access to Trending Content
I love the fact that the developers have listed the latest TV series separately. Thus, if you want to catch up with trending content, you don’t even have to search for it. You will probably get it on the first page itself. The list is always updated regularly which means that the trending section keeps on changing.
One of the underwhelming aspects of this streaming site is the schedule. There are just too many colors on that page. First, there is a primary category with a black accent followed by the timeline with a light blue accent and then the disclaimer with dark blue. But that’s not it, there are just 4-5 shows listed on each day, for instance, 31st December 2019 has just four shows listed – Almost Family S1 E9, Married at First Sight S1 Ep1, Bancroft S2 Ep1, and My 600-lb Life S8 Ep1.
Apart from the homepage mentioning the trending content, there’s a dedicated category that features all the newest shows. Each of these shows has a title, premiere date, and a summary. So for instance, if you click on ‘Party of Five’, which has just two episodes thus far, you’ll find the details of the Pilot episode and the second episode along with the airing date. Other important details that are available for a show include ‘Release Date’, ‘Genre’, ‘No. of episodes’, ‘External Link’, ‘Latest Episode’ and ‘Next Episode.’
There’s no dearth of content on Watch Series. From the latest releases to classics, you can find almost any TV-series here. If you scroll down, you’ll even find TV shows bifurcated under headings such as ‘Hilarious TV Shows’, ‘Top Thrills to Deal’ and ‘Action Series.’ Each of the headings has its own specific suggestions. This website’s content prowess can be understood by clicking the shows section. There are more than 100,000 TV shows, if not more, from which you can choose.
Amazing TV Shows
Some of the top TV shows include ‘Fresh Off the Boat’, ‘The Simpsons’, ‘Family Guy’, ‘The Walking Dead’, ‘The Vampire Diaries’, ‘Supernatural’, ‘The Originals’, ‘Modern Family’, ‘Friends’, ‘New Girl’, ‘Bones’, ‘American Dad’, ‘True Blood’, ‘American Horror Story’, ‘Arrow’, ‘Marvel’s Agent Carter’, ‘Outland’, ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Rookie Blue’ to name a few.
If you click on any of these titles, you’ll be taken to a dedicated page with all the information with links of each episode present under the ‘Season’ heading. Once, you’re on this page, you don’t have to visit any other pages. You simply click on the episode you want to watch and the page will take you to the streaming page where you can watch the show.
Most of the time, I try to stream with my desktop. I don’t like to stream on mobile because the discrepancies are just too much to handle. The ad-click and a page opening in a new tab are frustrating when it comes to the mobile experience. With a desktop, you can close it instantly without having to jeopardize your current page. Initially, when I started streaming on Watch Series, I would face a problem because my Flash Player wasn’t updated. Thus, I had to update it before I could watch content on Watch Series.
Update your Media Player
If your videos don’t work, you probably need a DivX player or Flash Player. These programs are used on almost every streaming site.
Sharing Custom Link
By registering on the website, you can add custom links to an episode. Thus, if you want to be a savior by providing fellow viewers with a reliable link to a TV episode, you can share it with the developers at Watch Series.
Buffer-free Streaming Suggestion
Even when you’re streaming from your desktop, you have to be patient with ads because those keep popping everywhere. Not just around the website but on the video player as well. So, before you even worry about buffering, dealing with ads is the first thing that will possibly give you a headache.
As far as buffering goes, I’d suggest that once the stream plays, just pause it and let it load, once it loads for a couple of minutes, you won’t face any issue. With that said, internet speed does matter. Also, make sure you’re not downloading a file on your browser or torrent because that slows down the streaming speed.
Suggestions I have for Watch Series
Ads are just too much. Even when I don’t click on a text, it redirects me to some spammy third-party article. I think the developers can make the streaming experience smoother rather than rubbing the viewers the wrong way. But again, it’s free streaming, so does anyone have the right to complain?
I’ve been streaming on Watch Series for a long time, it’s one of my favorite sites. There’s just something about its simplicity which makes me keep returning to the website. Simply select the series and watch any episode you want.
